Mild dyspnea. Incidental finding on CT scan to thyroid study

Age: 55 years

CT neck without contrast: normal thyroid with mediastinal lesion

ct

CT CHEST with contrast: presence of voluminous expansive lesion of 6 cm in the upper anterior mediastinum without infiltration of surrounding tissues signs with modest enhancement.

Case Discussion

CT-guided biopsy of mediastinal lesions.

HISTOLOGICAL EXAMINATION:macroscopic description: a few frustules of variable length up to 13 mm.

Diagnosis: B1 thymoma ((called thymoma WITH MAIN lymphocytic)
