Anterior midline neck lump known for years, foreign body sensation in the throat.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Thyroglossal duct cyst protruding into the pre-epiglottic space. It follows the course of the thyroglossal duct, as it inclines below the lower border of hyoid bone.

Case Discussion

Thyroglossal cysts may rarely extend into the larynx or even erode the thyroid cartilage 1.
