Presentation

Neck swelling with change in size during last 6 months. Increased during last 15 days.

Patient Data

Age: 12 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Cystic swelling at the level of hyoid bone with mild turbid fluid content. Blood flow is seen in septa on color Doppler.

Case Discussion

On examination, left paramedian neck swelling. Ultrasound features are most consistent with thyroglossal duct cyst.
