Presentation

Progressive bilateral proptosis in a patient with a known history of thyroid disease.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Bilateral ocular proptosis with bilateral rather symmetrical extra-occular muscle enlargement seen involving the inferior, medial and superior recti. The enlargement is rather confined to the muscle bellies and sparing their tendinous insertions (Coca-Cola bottle sign).
