A gradually enlarging mass in the posterior aspect of the left calf was palpable to examination. There were no findings on neurological examination.

An intermuscular well-circumscribed vividly enhancing mass posterior to the proximal tibia. It is of homogeneous low signal on T2 with central cystic changes.
Case Discussion
Microsurgical removal demonstrated a tibial nerve schwannoma. The tibial nerve passes deep to soleus muscle at this calf level.
