Alleged motor vehicle accident hit by wild boar.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Fractures involving bilateral tibial plateau and upper tibial shaft.

Fracture also at proximal fibula.

Comminuted fractures involving bilateral tibial plateau with metaphyseal-diaphyseal discontinuity (Schatzker VI).

Case Discussion

This is example of Schatzker VI fracture which involve medial and lateral tibial plateau with metaphyseal-diaphyseal discontinuity.
