Axial PD fat sat

Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with the graft intact. No evidence of arthrofibrosis. Tibial tunnel cysts extending anteriorly to the tibia. Mild marrow edema adjacent to the tibial tunnel. Mild pretibial soft tissue inflammation.

Case Discussion

Tibial tunnel and pretibial cysts are one of the more uncommon complications of anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions. In this case, there is mild bone marrow edema and pretibial inflammatory change associated with the cysts, which is the likely cause of presentation.
