There is an avulsed bone fragment (10 mm) in the anterior ankle region at the level of the talus. The tibialis anterior tendon is attached to this bone fragment. Acoustic shadowing is present to due bone fragment. The dorsal-medial side of the medial cuneiform shows a corresponding defect. The retraction of the tendon is about 48 mm from its insertion site.
