Tibiotalocalcaneal fusion nail remains stable in position, with no evidence of hardware failure. Fusion across the subtalar and talocrural joints is progressing and there is incorporation of the bone graft material. The tibial, talar and calcaneal locking screws are unremarkable.
Case Discussion
Example of tibiotalocalcaneal arthrodesis with a retrograde hindfoot intramedullary nail. This patient had severe debilitating osteoarthritis. Complications of TTC arthrodesis include infection and non-union.
