Presentation

Focal pain and swelling of the left upper anterior chest wall for 3 months

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
mri

Focal hypertrophy and large marginal osteophytosis of the left 1st costosternal junction, causing focal contour bulge of the chest wall.

Underlying subchondral bone marrow edema and mild joint effusion exhibiting bright signals on T2 and STIR WIs.

Surrounding soft tissue edema involving the overlying fibers of the left pectoralis major muscle.
