Salter-Harris type III fracture, most probably Tillaux fracture.

Left ankle in a circular plaster cast.
Nondisplaced Tillaux fracture.

Case Discussion
Fell off a skateboard and hurt her left ankle 2 hours before presenting to the pediatric ED. Swollen ankle, refuses to bear weight on the foot.
Ankle X-rays showed a Salter-Harris type III fracture of the left distal tibia. A CT was done to rule out a triplane fracture and verified that this is indeed a Tillaux fracture, namely, a Salter-Harris type III fracture through the anterolateral aspect of the distal tibial epiphysis.
