Case Discussion
Toddler fractures are most commonly seen in children from the age of 9 months to 3 years. The distal tibia is frequently fractured secondary to a twisting mechanism of injury. The incidence has been reported at 1-2.5 per 1000 children per year 1,2. The treatment is conservative with cast immobilization.
