CT cervical spine due to trauma
Multiple small tonsilloliths (tonsillar concretions, tonsillar calculi )involving the right and left palatine tonsils.
Case Discussion
Recurrent episodes of inflammation may cause fibrosis at the openings of the tonsillar crypts, with microorganism and epithelial debris accumulation that leads to retention cysts formation then subsequent calcification.
Most palatine tonsilloliths are usually asymptomatic.
