Presentation
Post head trauma
Patient Data

Normal brain parenchyma and ventricular system. No acute intracranial haemorrhage or established territorial infarct. No mass or herniation pattern.
Partial opacification of the right maxillary sinus.
Incidental note of osseous outgrowths from the hard palate (inferior maxilla) so called tori palatini, best seen on bone window images.
Case Discussion
Tori palatini (singular: torus palatinus) are benign osseous outgrowths from the hard palate (specifically from the inferior aspect of the palatine processes of the maxilla), and are a subtype of maxillary tori.
In most cases these are bilateral and asymptomatic, however in rare symptomatic cases resection might be necessary.
