Normal brain exam (not the scope of the images presented in this case). There is a well-circumscribed rounded cystic lesion, immediately deep to the mucosa in the midline of the posterior nasopharynx, nestled between and anterior to the longus colli muscles, and measuring 1,2 cm on its larger axial diameter.
This case illustrates a benign incidental finding on the posterior nasopharynx: a Tornwaldt cyst. The diagnosis is made basically on the typical benign imaging features.
