Left testis is seen outside the left inguinal canal in a superficial plane.
The spermatic cord is twisted as it leads to the testis. This testis is mildly enlarged, with increased echogenicity compared to the right testis (which is anatomically located in the right hemiscrotum). The left testis is heterogeneous without mass lesion.
Case Discussion
Surgical exploration was performed within two hours, confirming that the left testis was outside the inguinal canal. The testis was torsed, but fortunately was still viable.
