Presentation

Abnormal left testicle. Hard and high rising. 5 day history of pain.

Patient Data

Age: 10 years

Both testes are of normal echogenicity with no focal intratesticular lesion.

The left testis demonstrates slightly increased vascularity and the tunica albuginea of the left testis is slightly thickened in comparison to the contralateral side.

Immediately adjacent to the head of the left epididymis there is a round lesion measuring approximately 1 cm. It is relatively hyperechoic in comparison to the epididymis and testis and there is central heterogeneity. There is vascularity surrounding this lesion but no internal vascularity.

Small left-sided anechoic hydrocele.

The right testis and epididymis are unremarkable.
