Fall on outstretched left arm.

Patient Data

Age: 8 years
Gender: Female

There is buckling of the distal metaphyseal region of radius on the dorsal aspect. The volar cortex is intact. No dislocation.

Torus or buckle fracture is an incomplete fracture of the shaft of a long bone that is characterized by bulging of the cortex; usually seen in children, frequently involving the distal radial metaphysis.
