A case of complex congenital heart disease with single ventricle and atrial septal defect. All pulmonary veins drain into the right atrium indicative of type II (cardiac) total anomalous pulmonary venous return.
Case Discussion
This case is an example of type II (cardiac) total anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR), in which the common pulmonary venous sinus joins either the coronary sinus or the right atrium. It accounts for up to 30% of TAPVR cases.
