Presentation
An RTA six months ago necessitated intensive care unit admission and endotracheal intubation.
Patient Data

Lower tracheal injury treated with stenotic segment resection and end-end anastomosis.
Six months later, the patient presented with a wheeze.

Short, concentric narrowing of the lower mediastinal trachea just above the carina with tracheal wall thickening and luminal hour-glass shaped focal stenosis, the length of the narrowed segment about 12 mm, the distance from the vocal cord about 50 mm, the luminal diameter at the narrowest point of 5.5 mm (measured at a plane perpendicular to the tracheal long axis), the diameter of the normal trachea is 12.5 mm.
