Tracheal rupture

Abrupt increase in the tracheal caliber with 2 cm anterior wall deficiency at C6 level consistent with tracheal rupture. Fracture of the right superior cornu of thyroid cartilage.
Carotid and vertebral arteries satisfactory.
Extensive subcutaneous emphysema, pneumomediastinum and right pneumothorax. with complete upper lobe and partial lower lobe collapse.
Pneumomediastinum tracking into the retrocural space.
No other fracture.
No great vessel injury noted.
