Left lower lobe collapse.
There are nodular opacities projected over the distal trachea and region of the left main bronchus. These are likely the cause of the the left lower lobe collapse.

There are soft tissue density nodules within the distal trachea, left main bronchus and left lower lobe bronchus.
There are associated fluid-density tubular lesions within the left lower lobe, consistent with areas of mucus plugging secondary to proximal obstruction.
Case Discussion
Imaging findings were thought to be most likely secondary to tracheo-bronchial papillomatosis.
Bronchoscopic biopsy of the tracheal soft tissue nodule showed malignant melanoma.
The tracheal nodule was negative for HPV DNA on PCR testing.
