Curling of the nasogastric tube in a dilated proximal esophagus suggesting esophageal atresia.
Gas is seen distally in the gastric cavity indicating a tracheo-esophageal fistula.
Hyperinflated lungs.
Case Discussion
This case illustrates typical appearances of proximal esophageal atresia with distal tracheo-esophageal fistula due to the gas seen in the stomach most likely presenting the most common type C.
