Leg pain and not walking after playing in an inflatable jumping castle.

Patient Data

Age: 3 years and 5 months
Gender: Female

Knee Xray

Transverse lucent fracture line through the proximal metaphysis of the tibia.

Case Discussion

This is a recognized fracture pattern following jumping on trampolines (or inflatable castles) and is sometimes referred to as the trampoline fracture.
