Trans-olecranon fracture-dislocation of the elbow

There is a displaced fracture of the proximal ulna (olecranon and coronoid) with disruption of the ulnohumeral joint and displacement of the radial head anterior to the capitellum.
Case Discussion
The rarest of the three known complex elbow fracture-dislocation. This invariably requires surgical open reduction and internal fixation.
