A wedge-shaped margin-based area of parenchymal hyper-enhancement is noted in the right liver lobe on the arterial phase without mass effect.
Case Discussion
Features on CT images are most consistent with transient hepatic attenuation differences (THAD) that refer to the area of parenchymal enhancement visible during the hepatic artery phase and are thought to be a physiological phenomenon caused by the dual hepatic blood supply.
