A hyperintense lesion in the splenium of the corpus callosum in T2, FLAIR and diffusion sequences.
Case Discussion
The patient was discharged from the emergency department after symptomatic management of symptoms. She was lost to follow-up.
No history of chronic alcohol use was present. An acute toxic form of demyelination was the presumptive diagnosis, suggesting a transient lesion of the splenium of corpus callosum.
