Transitional carcinoma of the bladder

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Hematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

10 mm cyst is noted in the left liver lobe. 

Uncomplicated distal colonic diverticulosis is present. 

Two 40 x 35 mm and 32 x 18 mm polypoid enhancing masses are seen at the right posterolateral aspect of the urinary bladder, which involves but not obstruct the right UVJ. 

No extravesical extension and no regional lymphadenopathies are noted. 

The prostate gland is enlarged.  

Mild degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.

Case Discussion

Urinary bladder masses were pathology proven transitional cell carcinoma.

No extravesical extension. No regional lymphadenopathy. No detectable metastases.
