Presentation
Hematuria.
Patient Data
Small enhancing polypoid mass (measuring 20 x 16 x 10 mm) arising from the right posterolateral bladder wall at the vesicoureteric junction, protruding into the bladder lumen with no ipsilateral ureterohydronephrosis. No evidence of extravesical extension. No pelvic or para-aortic lymphadenopathy.
Normal appearance of the seminal vesicles.
Simple left renal cysts are noted.
Case Discussion
CT features of a small enhancing mass of the bladder wall at the vesicoureteric junction, projecting into the bladder lumen most consistent with a transitional cell carcinoma that was confirmed by cystoscopy with biopsy.
