Transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder

Presentation

Haematuria.

Patient Data

Age: about 70 yrs
Gender: Male
Modality: Ultrasound

A polypoid lesion from the bladder wall is noted near the right vesicoureteric junction. Vascularity is noted at base of the lesion on color Doppler imaging.

LEFT renal calyceal calculus.

No back pressure changes on either side.

Case Discussion

Findings of polypoid lesion from urinary bladder.

Surgical excision performed. 

Histopathology: Transitional cell carcinoma
