Patient Data
Right hydroureteronephrosis. A soft tissue echogenicity endoluminal lesion is seen in the right ureter at the level of iliac vessels. The distal ureter is normal.
Soft tissue density lesion is seen in the right ureter at the level of iliac vessels. It is enhancing in the post-contrast scan. The distal ureter is normal while the proximal ureter is dilated.
Hydronephrosis on right kidney (blue arrow).
The soft tissue echogenicity/density lesion (yellow arrow) is seen in the right ureter at the level of iliac artery (red arrow) and iliac vein (black arrow). It is enhancing in the post-contrast scan. The distal ureter is normal while the proximal ureter is dilated (white arrow).
Case Discussion
The mass was confirmed to be a transitional cell carcinoma (ureter) after right nephroureterectomy.
