Central cyanosis.

Patient Data

Age: 2 days
Gender: Female

The aorta arises from the right ventricle, while the pulmonary artery arises from the left ventricle.

A large VSD is also seen which maintains the circulation.

CTA directly shows the abnormal origin of the major vessels; the aorta and the pulmonary trunk.
