Transposition of the great arteries (fetal echocardiogram)

Presentation

20 weeks pregnancy for routine anomaly scan.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Situs solitus with normal IVC and aorta relationship. 4 chamber view is normal.

LVOT is abnormal. There is bifurcation of LVOT suggestive of pulmonary artery arising from left ventricle.

Abnormal short axis view of RVOT. 

There are two vessels in three vessel and tracheal view instead of three. Further, there is I sign in three vessel tracheal view.

There is parallel arrangement of great arteries.
