Transsphenoidal hypophysectomy (endoscopic)

Diagnosis certain

Patient is held in a Mayfield headrest, with an endoscope at the anterior wall of the sphenoid sinus. A sucker has been placed in the pituitary fossa.

This image has been obtained during endoscopic transsphenoidal hypophysectomy for a pituitary macroadenoma.
