Complete, undisplaced transverse fracture of the distal radius. Associated fracture of the ulnar styloid. Normal joint alignment
Case Discussion
Whilst this case looks very similar to many distal radial buckle fractures, this fracture involves the whole circumference of the cortex and is therefore a complete, transverse fracture. A buckle fracture is an incomplete fracture and will often be treated differently.
Ulnar styloid fractures are commonly associated and can be subtle.
