Transverse venous sinus aneurysm

Non-specific headache

Age: 11 years
Gender: Male

There is a single saccular structure arising from the right transverse sinus, with flow void on T2 sequence, also visible on MRV scans. Slightly dilated vein of Labbé seen anteriorly. Brain remainder seems unremarkable.

Case Discussion

Aneurysm of the transverse sinus is a rare entity, there are about ten cases of this anomaly have been found in the literature. In this case, aneurysm turned out an incidental finding. Further follow up was recommended.
