Presentation

The patient complains of pain and swelling in the left wrist after falling and hitting his hand on the ground. On clinical examination: there is tenderness and limited wrist movements.

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

  • Fracture in trapezium bone
  • Suspected fracture in the scaphoid bone
  • No bony erosion is seen. 
  • Soft tissue shadows appear swollen.
