Case Discussion
This purpose of this case is to demonstrate the appearances of an early pregnancy on CT.
If possible, informed consent regarding radiation dose and associated risks should be gained from the patient. However, treatment (including investigations such as CT scanning) should not be delayed to obtain consent in emergency situations where life-saving measures are required.
