Gender: Male

Traumatic aortic injury with pseudoaneurysm at the aortic isthmus and mediastinal hematoma. No active bleeding. 

Case Discussion

Acute traumatic aortic injury with pseudoaneurysm at the aortic isthmus and periaortic hematoma. 

Traumatic aortic injuries most commonly (90%) occur at the aortic isthmus.
