Traumatic bleed along anterior commissure

Altered sensorium. Motor vehicle accident 1 day ago.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Multiple hemorrhagic contusions in bilateral frontal lobes and bleed along anterior commissure.

No skull fractures, however mandible fractures were identified.


Normal MRI study from a different patient to spot the anatomy related to the anterior commissure.

Normal anterior commissure demonstrated in a young male (arrowheads).
