- Bilateral frontal and temporal subdural and subarachnoid hyperdense collections indicative of acute bleeding.
- Multiple hemorrhagic contusions in the bilateral frontobasal and left temporal brain.
- Subcutaneous hematoma in the soft tissues adjacent to the overlying calvarium, confirming the intracranial bleedings as a direct result of the trauma (coup).
- Large anteroposterior near-midline cranial vault fracture extending into the frontal sinus, with secondary hairline fracture extending occipitally on the right.
- Signs of mucosal thickening in the paranasal sinuses bilaterally.
Case Discussion
Acute traumatic intracranial bleeding simultaneously involving multiple anatomic spaces.
