Acute abdomen following blunt abdominal trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 13 years
Gender: Male

The CT scan demonstrates a focal perforation of the mesenteric side of a jejunal loop at the left flank with adjacent extraluminal fluid and gas, fat stranding and thickening of the peritoneal reflections.

No injury of the other intra-abdominal organs.
