Presentation
Left eye blunt trauma and pain and decreased visual acuity of the left eye.
Patient Data
Both eyes are globally large more in AP length up to 28 mm and left eye cornea, uveo-scleral layer and lens tear, choroidal detachment and hemorrhage more in the anterior nasal side, and low width optic nerves.
Foci of vitreous hemorrhage and left preseptal and lacrimal gland soft tissue swelling and fluid in the paranasal sinuses.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the non contrast MDCT features of traumatic ocular choroidal detachment and hemorrhage which is relatively rare after ocular blunt trauma and is a kind of ophthalmology emergency and must be meticulously managed.
