Presentation

Collision of an object with left eye and sudden blurred vision.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

The dislocated lens of the left eye globe within the vitreous body and blow-out fracture in the left orbit medial wall with a fat hernia is seen. Cornea tear in some parts is also evident.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the traumatic ocular dislocated lens within the vitreous body which is an uncommon emergency finding in ocular trauma. Ultrasound diagnosis is an alternative imaging modality.
