Focal high T2 signal is noted at the dorsal spinal cord at the level of mid-body of C3. It shows isointense signal on T1 and high signal on T2, reflecting focal spinal cord edema.

Focal spinal cord edema opposite the C3 mid-body level suggestive of mild spinal cord contusion.
