Presentation

Flaccid paraplegia following a road traffic accident 7 months ago.

Patient Data

Age: 9 months
Gender: Male

There is a discontinuity of the dorsal spinal cord from D2 to D5 level with areas of cystic cavitation as well as fibrous tissue bands connecting the cranial and caudal margins of the injury in keeping with a chronic spinal cord injury.
