Tree in bud pattern

Presentation

Increasing cough. History of lymphoma 10 years ago and asthma.

Age: 76
Modality: CT

Left greater than right, predominantly basilar mixed consolidative airspace and patchy groundglass opacity intermixed with tree in bud type nodularity. This is most likely inflammatory/infectious in etiology

Multiple centrilobular nodules, some with tree in bud configuration (green arrow).

Case Discussion

The case shows left greater than right, predominantly basilar mixed consolidative airspace and patchy ground glass opacity intermixed with tree in bud type nodularity.
