Presentation
Wrist pain after fall.
Patient Data

Synovitis is demonstrated at the level of the dorsal radiocarpal joint. Intact extrinsic ligaments. The carpal alignment is normal. Bone marrow signal show patchy osteopenia more typical of disuse than reflex sympathetic distrophy. No bone contusion.
Scapholunate: Likely partial tear lunate side at the dorsal membranous and proximal dorsal portion, without subluxation and mild widening.
DRUJ: Perforation of the central disc. Likely partial tear at the ulnar styloid attachment and radial attachment of the dorsal band DRUL. Likely tears at the distal aspect of the volar ligaments. Moderate DRUJ effusion.
