Presentation

Scalp swelling for three years. No pain, skin color change or discharge.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
ct

Small well-circumscribed non-calcified soft tissue density lesion in the frontoparietal scalp soft tissues. No gross intracranial abnormality is seen.

The scalp lesion was excised and histopathology showed trichilemmal cyst. 

Case Discussion

Small well-defined benign looking non-calcified soft tissue density nodule in the scalp soft tissues. Possible differential includes sebaceous cyst/epidermal inclusion cyst or trichilemmal cyst
