Tricuspid valve replacement

History of intravenous drug abuse, endocarditis and septic pulmonary emboli.

Patient Data

Age: 28 years
Gender: Male

There is cardiomegaly, 2 abandoned epicardial leads, right atrial enlargement, right ventricle enlargement and enlarged central pulmonary arteries. The valve that has been replaced is the trucuspid valve, based on history, findings and location. A bioprosthetic tricuspid valve has been used.
